Cambodian Trinity Lutheran Church Activities in Cambodia

On November 13, 2003, the Cambodian Trinity Lutheran, Battembang, Cambodia, was Dedicated with over 200 people in attendance, including the mayor, community leaders and the adjacent school principal, plus [name] the leader of another Lutheran fellowship group at Kampong Key, Siem Reap province.

Since the dedication, new people have been visiting the new church each Sunday. money is being raised to begin construction on an Educational Unit to be build near the church and to be used for Sunday School , Bible classes and perhaps an English Language School. To date about $5,00 has been gathered. Peter Sok and Wife, Mary and friends, Roger and Marie Moves plan to be in Cambodia in July, 2004. They will also be met there by LCMS missionaries and leaders from arounding countries to establish a closer worker relationship with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
